Monday, July 30th, 2007Chaplain Gustafson said it best just a couple minutes ago; “Feels like its been a long day already and it’s only 8 a.m.!” Formation was at 0600 for most of the company, but since I’ve been through the IED/UXO training already, I’m stuck back here at the TOC. Someone’s got to man the con!
Weather down here has been humid, but not unbearable. I went for an hour-long run last night just as it was starting to cool down, so the temperature was just right for working out. But I could still see the humidity in the air as I was cruising down the road. Saw a couple deer on my route, but at least I didn’t bump into any of the skunks, which seem to run this post. I have never seen so many skunks in my life! I’m figuring someone’s gonna get sprayed before we get out of here.
